Why does one write a diary? To remember, to forget, to laugh? Where does the true nature of the Self hide, in which spaces is it born and does it flourish? In what way does literary weaving permeate personal weaving? Through archival research and the reading of intimate diaries written by women who lived in years not far from our own, and through the encounter with one of them, the work investigates the presence of a narrative that unites us, the possibility of dialogue between experiences from different pasts that weave possible futures.
Dora Macripò was born in Taranto in 1997. In 2016 she entered the Silvio d’Amico Academy of Dramatic Arts. She graduated in 2020 and works in theatre and cinema. In 2024 she co-created “MAM” and “Recisa” with the support of FerraraOff and TRAC Centro di residenza Pugliese, and in 2025 she is finalist at the Biennale College Teatro of Venice with “Crossing the River I Dance”, of which she is director and author.
