From Syria: is this a child? was born from the need to find a special langauge to talk to kids. On the stage: Giorgia, 12 years old, talks about her ordinary life of european in a prosperous peace era and her pain at the separation of parents; and Edma, young syrian refugee, who, through an unexpected friendship, brings giorgia to the knowledge of a greater pain: that of the missiles and bombs under which her peers in syria live.

The performance is presented as a preparatory study.

Miriam Selima Fieno and Nicola Di Chio works on an artistic research, social survey and production that use documentary theatre to deepen the contemporary political debate.
