This work is the first part of a cycle called Around Troy, which intends to investigate the theme of the destruction of a civilization, loss and exile. Like Achaeans launched to devastate cities and at the same time like Trojans adrift, we are at the same time the conqueror and the one who is defeated. We are the destroyers of the planet and, precisely for this reason, through wars, climate change and pandemics, we are also the victims of this destruction. In particular, in an absolutely original way,this work places the viewer at the center of the scene, between two stages, on the border of opposing fronts where it would be impossible and absurd to take sides. As in the Iliad, we are once again witnesses of the absolute senselessness of war and of the blind terrible force that makes us victims and executioners in the mimetic equality of violence. The work was born at the end of a long research which involved, through an Advanced Training Course, a large group of young actors.

Teatro del Lemming, founded in Rovigo in 1987, is an experimental theatre company. Since the 1990s, the group has established itself as one of the most innovative realities on the scene through a path, unique in the Italian panorama, which is characterized by the direct, dramatic and sensorial involvement of the spectators. The Company is the creator of an original theatrical pedagogy called The five senses of the actor.
