Bocca is a work that starts from the breakdown of the body and is designed for only one spectator at a time. The person entering is led into a delimited space where he meets Bocca. This is thought of as a separate organ that acts and thinks autonomously. It is not an object or a simple fragment: it is a unit that has taken life and which is put into a dialectical relationship with the spectator. The mouth and the viewer interact and create a bond between them. The condition of freedom of the spectator, together with his solitude, gives rise to always different relationships for each replica. During and after this meeting the spectator can develop a new vision of his own body and of his own person due to the projections that he will have made on this other body. Mouth produces opposite forces. It moves away from the human because of its separation from the body and leads back to the human thanks to the word: for this reason it poses questions about choice, about awareness of one’s appearance and about the vital question of desire.

Amantidi was founded in 2017 by Riccardo Zamunaro, Luca Filippi and Fabio Benetti to bring together under the same name the various branches of performing art. The activities offered range from artistic performances to theatre workshops. It also organises public readings, polymorphic exhibitions and meetings with authors. Since 2018 it has its own activities " Porto Burci " (new cultural center Vicentino).
