The need for a lucid trance seems to be the constant indication delivered to us when trying to decipher the arduous struggle underlying the beginning. It is only through induced alteration that one can hope to be catapulted into the truth of one's being. Alteration produces simulacra. We rely on these to regain the strength needed to construct another world in which to survive. As Living Dead we thus bow before a moloch that perpetually keeps us chained on the edge of the precipice from which we can free ourselves by offering the nape of the neck to the bond that a liberating spirit can offer us and this, we know, at the expense of freedom.
With Voodoo we embrace all our becoming.
With Voodoo we are hurled into the vortex of true life.
With Voodoo we inhabit the dark light.

The Masque's works are expressions of a research that finds its raison d'être in the production of simulacra, events where material and virtual merge to give life to original creations. The visionary force that animates them springs from the complex dialogue that the company weaves between philosophical discourse, the creation of prodigious scenic architectures and the fundamental role of the Figure. In 2014, together with philosophers Carlo Sini and Rocco Ronchi, they created Praxis. School of Philosophy. Since 1994 they have curated Crisalide, a festival of performing arts and new forms of life.
