Fio azul (Blue thread) is a search in various directions. A research that aims to hybridize different disciplines and bring them together in a new style. A research that allows us to bring the public to be an integral part of the performance. Body Music is inherently an inclusive type of music and the reason is very practical. The audience necessarily brings their own instrument when they go to a Body Music concert, their own body.
«Our research goes in the direction of involving the public, even as an actor. In the exploration of different rhythmic and musical patterns we were able to come into contact with Brazilian and African rhythms, as well as with those more typical of some parts of Italy. We are fascinated to see how these rhythmic and melodic cells, as if they were the soul of a culture, are closely linked to the stories, legends and traditions that this culture carries with it. What we work on is not a concert, it is not a dance performance, it is not a theatrical performance and it is all these things together ».
Collettivo Rosario was born in 2019 and consists of a musical, theatrical and dance research in the world of tradition and popular culture that embraces different worlds. The rhythms of Brazil and the Italian and Spanish traditions combine to nourish the concept of “popular of the world”. As a living organism the group continues to change and welcome people and ideas from the most diverse places. Led by the artistic direction of Charles Raszl, the Rosario Collective includes musicians, actors, dancers from different artistic and geographical origins.
