A Classic Heterosexual Love Story is born from a finding: "None of us can avoid being children, we can choose to be parents, or lovers or friends, but being children is one of those few human conditions that we share". We found ourselves talking about this, when we were on the threshold of thirty years. Perhaps, because at some point you stop to reflect on your origins. Origins that you have not chosen, but to which you were inexorably destined. Origins you don’t understand but with which at some point in your life you find yourself dealing. The desire that animates our show is to experiment with a new way of staging by investigating classic themes such as love, language, sexuality and family.
In 2016, after two years of collaboration in different projects, Francesca Merli (director), Camilla Mattiuzzo and Riccardo Baudino (playwrights), Elena Boillat (perfomer and choreographer) and finally Federica Furlani (sound designer) founded the theatrical company DOMESTICALCHIMIA. Also in 2016, the company produces Il Contouring Perfetto, winner as best show at the Festival Avanguardie 20 30, staged at the Teatro delle Moline, Teatro delle Passioni and Arena del Sole of Emilia Romagna Teatro, Teatro Out-Off of Milan. In 2018 A Classic Story of Heterosexual Love, wins the Theatrical Mass Award from Campo Teatrale in Milan.
