Anne Frank
The performance is based on Anne Frank’s Diary and a poem written by a 12-year-old girl, whose name is unknown. The actions that come to life in performance are developed on two levels: on stage and on screen as if it were a film. The story of the film, however, starts from the end and takes place in reverse, while the action on stage proceeds in chronological order, from beginning to end. All the scenes from the film and live action are shown separately, but they integrate with each other, creating a whole where every aspect complements the other.
Rima Pipoyan is a young Armenian dancer who graduated from the Yerevan State College of Choreography in 2006 as a choreographer and dancer. Since 2012 she has been teaching dance and curating the university course in choreographic direction. Rima was winner of the competition DanceFormation in Bremen (2015). In June 2016, he presented his theatrical production Hours of vision at the Caucasus Contemporary Dance & Experimental Art Festival in Tbilisi. Rima was also the winner of the Junge akademie competition at the Akademie der Kunste and one of the six finalists for the Diana Vishneva Context, also as a choreographer.
