KA-F-KA is a free interpretation of the visual and imaginary universe of Franz Kafka in general and, in particular, of his work La Metamorfosi. KA-F-KA is a show built on an interdisciplinary (and not multidisciplinary) language: in the work, in fact, we see a continuous movement between different artistic disciplines and not a mere mixing of them. KA-F-KA is the story of everyone and nobody. A man, lost in the routine of his life, wakes up to discover that he has transformed into another being. He suffers isolation, loneliness, hunger and fear but continues to run through his duties as an individual and as a member of a society.

ORIAN - in the Persian language - refers to the notion of nudity, which is not only the bodily one as to purity and therefore truth. ORIANTHEATRE is a dance-theatre company, founded in 2006 in Iran and then re-established in France in 2011, under the artistic supervision of the Iranian choreographer Mehdi Farajpour. The artistic research of ORIANTHEATRE is centered on the construction of an original choreographic language located at the border between different artistic practices. Dance, theatre, installation, video art and music are the main languages used in the group’s various productions. Mehdi Farajpour was hosted with his works at the ImpulsTansz festival in Vienna, the Istrian national theatre in Croatia, the Institut du Monde Arabes (IMA/Paris), the CRICOTEKA (the museum dedicated to Tadeusz Kantor in Krakow) and the TANZFAKTUR in Cologne.
