From Dutch colonial law to Italian neorealist cinema, from the facts of today’s news to the categories of mass pornography, from historical fascism to paternalistic racism, internalized today: this is the dizzying periplo of WHITE LIES, free vademecum of history and critical interpretation of the look of the white male on the body of the black male, freely proposed in a slightly different form every evening by Alessandro Berti.

Alessandro Berti is an actor, director and playwright. After the school of the Teatro di Genova he founded L'IMPASTO Comunità Teatrale (1996-2004) for which he writes and directs all the shows, among which we remember SKANKRER (1996, produced by the Teatro di Leo), TERRA DI BURRO (1997, Santarcangelo Festival), TRIONFO ANONIMO (2000, CRT Milano), THE AGENDA OF SEATTLE (2001, East West/ Teatro Comunale Ferrara) THE NEIGHBORHOOD (2002, Fondazione Orestiadi Gibellina/ CSS Udine). From 2003 to 2007 he directed the POPULAR SCHOOL OF THEATRE and the project ART/ SOCIETY/ MADNESS in Udine. Since 2006, he has been experimenting with the monologue as a privileged vehicle for communicating with the public in small and non-theatrical venues. Your texts have been represented in Italy and Europe. Among these we remember DIARIO DI BORDO (Blue Ark 1998-2018), IL PEDONE ROSSO (Rome Theatre 2008-18) and BRENNERO CRASH, presented at the Neuköllner Oper in Berlin in 2013. He runs a theatre school in CASAVUOTA, Bologna.
