The work stems from the feeling that we live in a condition of paralysis of critical thinking and action, a situation of sloth that makes us passive, both politically and socially and in the private sphere. And art, with its ability to present itself as a political act, can stimulate liberation from this immobility. Rivolti is an experience dedicated to a single participant in replication that intends to ignite the spark of an intimate revolt against one's passivity: from closed in on ourselves to turned towards what surrounds us, from passive subjects walking along the flow of events to active people who create the event, making a gesture of rebellion against sloth. Will we ever be able to bridge the gap between the world we live in and the world we desire? There is only one way to find out, take the first step.
MOMEC is a collective of people united by the desire to reactivate the capacity to remember. Born in 2018 from an idea of Mario Previato, a former actor of the Teatro del Lemming, the group also formed by actresses Fiorella Tommasini and Antonia Bertagnon questions the possibility of creating shared memories in the form of experiences, installations and forms of participatory art. For MOMEC, memory is a space dedicated to an encounter with the city (Guida alla Memoria), with a cherished object (Soggetti Comuni), with a stranger (Hasta la Memoria) or with a person far away in space, but always close in memory (Terzo Tempo).
