There is always something in a poetic text that remains irreducible to a single meaning, or that, rather than appealing to our reason, addresses, without any possible mediation, directly to our senses. If the Primo Canto dell'Inferno, among others, is indelibly engraved in our culture, it is because this poetic word has a burning force that reverberates far beyond its rational meaning.
The scenic writing we have done does not want to underline or clarify the meaning of the words, but rather to propose itself as a further poetic reverberation.
In the theater the word, the verb, must become flesh.
The work was born within a laboratory project carried out for the students of the Paleocapa High School of Rovigo, with the contribution of the Municipality of Rovigo - youth policy sector. Presented in its theatrical form in April, the scenic material is re-proposed at the Festival as a Studio d'Ambiente, with small fragments of the work presented with brief theatrical forays into the urban body. Small poetic thrills within the daily flow of the city.
