A room, in which an old man carefully arranges intimate memories of a past whose absence is felt, is the setting that hosts a non-place, the dream, capable of distorting chronological time and restructuring a reality outside of each map. A dream journey retraces the experience of man in which fun, eros and suffering are confused, abstractions embodied by the women of his past, echoes of a bare, shameless past that looms over the present like an earthquake.
To weave the threads of the narration, like Greek moiras, are three black, mysterious figures, evoked by a lullaby: manifestation of primordial fears, ghosts and nightmares of adulthood, which come to whisper in our ears at night, nightmares that one day perhaps we will be able to defeat them by looking them straight in the eye, mirroring them and petrifying them like a Gorgon seeing its own reflection.
Inspired by the works of Ingmar Bergman, Karin's face is an effigy of memory, of play, of pain.

Cantiere Artaud is a theatrical research collective founded in Arezzo in 2016 by Sara Bonci and Ciro Gallorano. In 2020 the company was recognized by the Tuscany Region as a young prose formation. Cantiere Artaud is intended to be the place for the rediscovery of archetypes, of cathartic values, according to the idea that truth resides in symbolism and ritual. The viewer is asked to let himself be led into a labyrinth made of magnetic silences and shadows, primordial sounds and small gestures that bring with them a poetic quality. In 2019 Opera Prima had already hosted their previous work: L'eco della falena.
