«Blind Date was born as a synthesis of a personal research on instant composition that I have been carrying out since 2008 and which over the years has focused on the relationship between Body and Sound, preferably in non-theatrical contexts. Since its inception, the project has been hosted, among others, in places such as: the Pecci Museum of Contemporary Art in Prato (Manuele Parrini / violilno); the Uffizi Gallery in Florence (Mario Mariotti / trumpets); Modena Central Station (Igino Casalgrande / battery).
In this updated version of the project I have decided to broadly expand the richness of the basic concept by choosing to go on stage with a musician with whom, not only that I have never worked before, but that I will only meet at the moment of the performance. The stage space will be our first real meeting; how we decide to start, our handshake ».
