CHIAMATA PUBBLICA calls for everyone whishes to try in person the acting method created by Teatro del Lemming and called The five senses of the actor. This method, that works with the most deep emotion of the actors starting from their own five senses, leaves for the first time the protected space of the theater to reach open-air spaces, like squares and parks.
The challenge is open to EVERYONE, without limitation because of particpants’ number, past experiences or age. It wish for the participants to agree on a non conventional theater that has the authenticity of the meeting between audience and actor as its core.
The work will move around some myths of Ovid's METAMORPHOSES, last Lemming’s project, performed through its peculiar methodology and poetics.
Those who want to try this method have to answer to this public call signing up free of charge by mail or calling 3273952110. Everyone who wants to participate should arrive one hour before the starting time dressed in white. Those who only want to be spectators, will be able to see with a open heart a moment of the construction process of a future performance, of which this event is a fundamental step.

Teatro del Lemming, created in Rovigo in 1987 by Massimo Munaro and Martino Ferrari, is an experimental theatre company, founded by MiBAC since 1997. Since the 90s, this group represents one of the most innovative groups on the scenes, with a one-of-a-kind theater poetics, defined by the theatrical and sensory involvement of the audience. Teatro del Lemming has been recognised as one of the main experimental theatre groups both in Italy and outside of it. Many years ago, it created an original theater methodology called “The five senses of the actor”.
