We keep our memories in a closed drawer. Small things linked to strong moments are clumped together as still things. Sometimes, while we're cleaning, they reappear. Memories turn on, a relationship with ourselves turn on. Nowadays, though, it becomes necessary to go beyond the self-interests that is erasing everything: nowadays it becomes necessary to create new relationship, and for this reason, new possibilities for communities are needed.

This is MOMEC: a meeting chance, moments where the past can become something new. We ask people to gift something they really care about, and the memory that makes it one of its kind. Objects and memories will form together SOGGETTI COMUNI, a narrative installation, a shared memory everyone can see and live. In the end, HASTA LA MEMORIA: those who have gifted something will be able to exchange objects and memories, during a special event where the meeting itself is the main and only protagonist.

Momec is not only a simple theater company, but a group of people who share the will to renew the ability of remembering. From the creative mind of Mario Previato, once actor at Teatro del Lemming and actually copywriter, Momec brings together citizens from different backgrounds: different ages, different areas of expertise, different memories . Actors, factory workers, photographers, officer workers, farmers, retirees, students - Momec didn't ask, don't ask, and will never ask for specific skills; it only asks for the willingness to gift the memory of one, or more, happy moments lived in a corner of the most iconic public space: the city.
