The third half of rugby is a ritual, a festive moment that brings together teams and fans after each match. The Third Time of MOMEC is a meeting with people who live in us, in our memory. After the first time of living and the second of forgetting, comes the third time of remembering. Through our memory, in fact, we can get in touch with friends, relatives, old or new loves, living or dead, near or far. To do this, you don’t need to be face-to-face, a piece of paper can suffice.
Third Time of MOMEC is a small space dedicated to one participant at a time: you visit alone, but you can live together with who you want.
More than an artistic team, MOMEC is a collective of people united by the will to reactivate the ability to remember. Born from an idea of Mario Previato, former actor of the Teatro del Lemming and copywriter, the group returns for the third year to Opera Prima. For MOMEC, memory is always a space dedicated to the encounter, first with the city (Guide to Memory, 2018), then among strangers (Common Subjects, 2019) and today with the people of our lives, through a Third Time that puts us in touch first with ourselves.
