Mutated forms, freely inspired by the Metamorphoses of Ovid, proposes for each participant an intimate and personal immersion in the space of the rite, myth and memory. The work also proposes a possible way to access another level of reality, where we are placed at the crossroads between the world of the living and the world of the dead. It is as if he was rushing into the labyrinth of a personal and archetypal memory. We are facing, perhaps, ghosts, the evocation of a past that becomes present but cannot return. The actor-spectator distance mimics here that irreconcilable distance that separates us from what was and will not return. Matter disintegrates, decomposes, mixes. Everything changes and transforms. The Metamorphoses sung by Ovid are reflected, so, in the many metamorphoses crossed by each of us, in a continuous movement between death and rebirth.
Access is restricted to a group of only five spectators per replica. A maximum of four replicas per day are planned.

The Teatro del Lemming, founded in Rovigo in 1987 by Massimo Munaro and Martino Ferrari, is a research theatre company supported by MiBACT since 1997. The group has been established as one of the most innovative actors in the scene since the 1990s through a theatrical path, unique in the Italian landscape, characterized by the dramaturgical and sensory involvement of the audience. The company has been for many years the creator of an original theatrical pedagogy called The five senses of the actor.
