Between a pandemic that is struggling to go away and the deafening din of an absurd and horrible war (and its propaganda), Opera Prima confirms itself as a space of "resistance" as well as a place for exploration and research of the new languages of scene. In fact, the Festival is dedicated, as always, to new youth creativity, and to all that theater that does not surrender to habits, that does not conform itself, and therefore loves to experiment with forms that are closer to the sensitivity of the present.
Opera Prima also proposes itself as a place for meeting, confrontation, dialogue, clash of ideas, thoughts and practices, becoming more and more a bridge between the generations of theater as well as between the various most innovative languages on the international scene.
We present different works, each with its own language and its own different poetics, many faces of our world. Together, however, these shows perhaps draw a path, a sort of great collective work that we invite you to cross together. Because once again the theater reminds us, even in these dark times, that human existence is not resolved in submitting and appropriating, but in cultivating and guarding.
