AMarti is a name that encompasses both the initials of Martina Alberi and Martina’s act of giving herself "to" (A) herself through music, poetry, and drawing. Her exploration of music as a means of transforming emotional states for healing began timidly in Glasgow, Scotland, and later found full expression upon her return to her hometown, Porto Garibaldi, Italy, in 2020. The resulting dream-folk style, rooted in a popular tradition, led her to the stage of the Sferisterio in Macerata with her song "Pietra", as one of the eight winners of Musicultura 2023.
She also recently performed at the Fe-stival Days in Ferrara, during the evening dedicated to Cristina Donà, and at Imola in Musica.
