Composer and musician Francesca Guccione presents a concert for string quartet and analog synthesizers—a sonic weaving that traverses landscapes of time, memory, and emotion. The program blends pieces from her latest album The Geometry of Time with original arrangements of iconic works by Icelandic composer Jóhann Jóhannsson, a key figure in contemporary minimalism and narrative sound art. This musical experience moves between the tenderness of remembrance and the intensity of vision: the strings trace intimate paths, while analog synthesizers open up inner spaces. A musical ritual on time, which becomes presence, echo, and metamorphosis.

Francesca Guccione is an Italian composer and violinist. Fascinated from the start by the relationship between sound and image, she combined her studies in violin with composition and film scoring. In 2021, she released her debut album Muqataea on the French label Whales Records, under the artistic direction of Giovanni Sollima. In September 2024, she released her second album, The Geometry of Time, with the Berlin-based label Neue Meister. She is currently pursuing a PhD at the Francesco Venezze Conservatory in Rovigo, where she researches the life and musical production of Jóhann Jóhannsson and explores new compositional languages. Her creative expression is poetic, suspended between reality and imagination—a doorway into hidden worlds.
