Mine-Haha, or On the Physical Education of Young Girls is the fictional memoir of Helene Engel, “Hidalla” in the garden, revisiting—years after the narrated events—the life of a woman from her earliest childhood to adolescence. Based on Wedekind’s novel and in dialogue with it, the work revolves around the formation of a female body, highlighting the areas of the text where the connection between gaze, body, and education is particularly intense. In an exhibition-like dimension, the body on stage—superimposed with that of Hidalla—becomes the ground on which to open an investigation into identity and the act of looking. It questions the power dynamics between the observer and the observed, by bringing the role of the spectator into focus.

Marco Corsucci, born in 1995, graduated in directing in 2022 from the Accademia Nazionale d’Arte Drammatica “Silvio D’Amico”. During his studies, he worked with notable figures such as Giorgio Barberio Corsetti, Arturo Cirillo, Valentino Villa, and Antonio Latella. He was a finalist in the Biennale College 2022 with Mine-Haha, and winner of the 2023 Camilleri Prize with Il Supermaschio, which premiered at the 2023 Festival dei 2Mondi in Spoleto.

Matilde Bernardi, born in Lucca in 1998, began her training through a workshop led by Dimitri Galli Rohl and by joining the Teatro Giovani company under Nicola Fanucchi. She later attended several workshops, particularly with Teatro dei Venti, Leviedelfool, Teatro del Carretto, and Danio Manfredini.
