MUD PIE electric blues band was born out of the desire to give a face and a voice to the Blues of our region. The band was founded by Francesco Favaretto and Nicola Fantini in 2019. It began as a power trio, with its electric blues flowing slowly through the plains of Polesine, eventually opening into a delta of sounds, colors, and exciting new collaborations.

Mud Pie is the name of a traditional dessert from the southern United States, but it also evokes, in its essence, a fundamental ingredient that could be considered the fifth element of the nature of blues — the mud, the MUD.
